Questions?
What is a Contingency Fee?

A contingency fee is just what it sounds like - a fee that is paid contingent upon money being awarded. If no money is obtained by the lawyer in the case, then the client does not have to pay an attorney's fee. If a monetary award is obtained, either through settlement or verdict, the lawyer gets a percentage of the total recovery. For more information about contingency fees, please give us a call.

Do you give free consultations?

Yes. I devote the utmost attention and care to my existing clients, and I want to do the same for you. If you don't have a case, I'll make sure you understand why, and discuss what other options might be available to you.

How much does it cost to file a lawsuit?

$300 --$500. The total amount is dependent on the number of people we sue and service costs.

How much can I recover if I win my case?

This varies greatly depending on the type of case, and how strong of a case you have. In general you may recover for:

Economic damages include past and future medical expenses, household services, vocational therapy, property damages, out-of-pocket expenses, and lost earning capacity; and Non-economic damages are those that do not have a monetary amount but still affect the victims’ quality of life.

These include emotional distress, pain, inconvenience, loss of consortium and loss of enjoyment of life. Non-economic damages are generally limitless, but there are exceptions under California law.

How long does it take to pursue a personal injury case?

Without knowing the facts of the case, it is difficult to give an easy answer. As a general rule, the less serious the injury, the quicker the case will end.
